Where is the oil filter on my 96 Savage?

I am brand new to my 96 Savage LS 650 and I really want to change the oil and filter myself but I can't seem to find the filter! I can't seem to find a manual that tells me how and what to find either. I would adore help as to how to find and what to find in order to change my own oil and filter. Does anyone know who makes a manual for my model? Does anyone know how much oil it takes? I would truly appreciate the feedback. Thank you.
